  • Project Oceanology homeschool trip
  • Christmas wrapping paper organized (two rolls ordered from a fundraiser)
  • Jurassic World movie night 
  • Thanksgiving decorations put up
  • Blog two recipes

Tasks for November 8 – November 15, 2015. These are in addition to my normal daily tasks.

  • Continue purging items in attic
  • Clean up leaves in the yard – John


  • Healthy snack making day
  • Freezer meals


  • Daily Bible reading and scriptural study at home



  • Begin working on rustic fabric garland for Christmas Tree (find fabric online)
  • Make list of homemade gifts needed for this year
  • Yearly family photos
  • Begin looking at Christmas card options (sales and codes)



  • Begin Dinosaur unit (phonics, math, sight words)
  • Continue daily phonics in Explode the Code
  • Continue daily math in Kumon workbook
  • Continue our art dvd each week
  • Prepare all items for our Operation Christmas Child event on the 18th
  • Story time at the library
  • Continue working on science fair project
  • Field trip to Farmer’s Cow
  • Cookies for Vets



  • Two new recipes

Weekly Tasks 12/8 – 12/15

My task list is much smaller these days but really, it is nice to have a task list again. Many things are accomplished slowly and that is ok. 🙂 Below are my, “in addition to everyday housekeeping,” tasks.

Resume lessons / Homeschool after two months off

Go to Christmas With Woodland Santa at DPNC (

Work with ALL medical facilities to pay off medical bills and organize a solid payment plan


Below are my tasks for this week:


Christmas craft with Jack – toilet paper bird seed tube

Trip to Mystic Aquarium

Go on walks

John and Jack time each day

Work on Jack’s potty training each day


Organize and clean laundry room

Make storage space in laundry room for craft supplies

Sweep garage

All newborn clothes packed away

Jack Ongoing tasks – help mom make dinner, make bed, pick up toys, help with Wesley, help get the mail each day.


Read books – Bring out Christmas Books

Work on list for Santa

Coloring pages

Christmas Play dough

Nativity scene and Spirit of Christmas

Hang chalkboard!! 🙂


Wrap gifts

Complete necessary gift purchasing

Work on Christmas food menu

Put up Christmas window decals with Jack


Play with boys for one hour every night

List items on Craigslist

 Begin blogging again

Start work on Aldi blog series

Start work on New Year’s Goal blog series

Cleaned up the front porch and packed away all summer toys

Cleaned up the attic and put a bunch of stuff by the curb

Took Jack for a haircut

Played a lot outside

Had two freezer meal sessions

Jack made a background for his fish tank

Purchased more totes for organizing

Put out some Autumn decorations

Read books with Jack each day and evening

Did some crafts with Jack

I did some Christmas shopping
